BLUEBERRY BUTTERFLY LATTE (BLUEBERRY MUFFIN LATTE

STEP 1: Make Blueberry Butterfly Tea

Water quality is important with tea. The better the water, the better the cup of tea. Use filtered water if possible.

Steep tea bags in hot water for 3-5 minutes and watch the water turn a dark blue. Take out tea bags and set aside and let it cool down.

STEP 2: Make Vanilla Cream

Froth or stir your Milk with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and your favorite sweetener (I used honey!)

STEP 3: Assemble your Drink

Fill cup with ice and pour in the cooled down blue tea. Next, slowly pour in the vanilla sweet cream and watch it create pretty swirls! Sip and enjoy!

QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE...

What does it taste like?

Ours tastes like a blueberry muffin! We add ingredients alongside the butterfly pea flowers. I don’t love the taste of butterfly pea flower by itself. It tastes earthy and woody. It’s definitely pretty to look at but it tastes bleh. I never drink it on its own.

Is there caffeine?

Nope, there’s no caffeine in Blueberry Butterfly tea!

Is butterfly pea flower tea a real tea?

Butterfly pea flower tea is made from the clitoria ternatea plant, not the camellia sinensis so it’s not a real tea. All herbal teas aren’t real teas. Real tea is tea made from the leaves of the camellia sinensis plant. Black, oolong, green, and white tea are all real or true tea.

Enjoy your tea, and have a magical day!
